- Work closely with Compliance and Legal to ensure business support processes are consistent with applicable policies, regulatory expectations, and governance requirements.
- Evaluate business support systems, software, vendors, and external service providers and recommend improvements where appropriate.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives designed to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and increase organizational efficiency.
- Establish escalation procedures for time-sensitive or high-impact business support issues and ensure appropriate resolution.
- Develop and maintain business continuity and operational support procedures for critical internal functions.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Business Support team as organizational requirements expand.
- Maintain a high standard of accountability, confidentiality, responsiveness, organization, and operational discipline across the function.
