Night Service Desk Operator
Remote | Permanent | £25,500-£27,500 depending on experience
Hours:22:00-06:00
Shift pattern:4 nights on, then 2 nights off. The pattern repeats continuously.
About the role
Triwonder is looking for a dependable person to join our overnight Digital Operations team.
You do not need a formal IT background. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, able to work through problems logically, and willing to learn our systems and processes.
You will help monitor and support a large estate of digital displays and associated technology across the UK. The role involves identifying faults, carrying out initial checks, raising and updating support cases, resolving straightforward issues where possible, and escalating more complex faults to Tier 2 teams.
Shift pattern
This is a permanent night-shift role working 22:00-06:00.
You work 4 nights, then have 2 nights off, and the pattern repeats.
Example: work Monday-Thursday, off Friday-Saturday, then return Sunday-Wednesday.
Because the rota repeats continuously, your working days move through the week and will include weekends and bank holidays as part of the normal rota.
What you'll be doing
· Monitoring digital displays and supporting infrastructure.
· Identifying offline, degraded or unusual equipment behaviour.
· Reviewing alerts and carrying out initial checks.
· Raising and updating support cases with clear information.
· Performing straightforward remote troubleshooting.
· Rebooting or restarting equipment where appropriate.
· Carrying out basic network and connectivity checks.
· Escalating more complex issues to Tier 2 teams with useful diagnostic information.
· Providing clear handovers to the incoming team.
· Completing planned checks and maintenance when operational workload allows.
· Answering telephone calls from clients and members of the public.
· Reviewing relevant social media posts and reports.
What we're looking for
We are not looking for someone who already knows every system we use. Full training will be provided.
What matters most is that you are reliable, willing to learn, comfortable using technology and able to approach problems calmly and methodically.

Experience that may be useful
Previous experience in any of the following may help, but none is essential:
· Service desk or helpdesk support.
· Call centre or technical customer service.
· CCTV or security monitoring.
· General IT support.
· Remote monitoring or RMM platforms.
Training and development
Full training will be provided on our systems, processes and technical environment.
Over time, you will build a strong understanding of our digital estate, monitoring platforms and support processes, becoming a trusted member of the overnight operations team.
A long-term role
We are looking for someone who wants to settle into the role, build knowledge of the estate and become a dependable part of the team over the long term.
The value in this position comes from knowing the environment well, spotting issues quickly and understanding what normal looks like across the systems you support.
