Freelance Social Media Video Editor --- Remote
Estera Creative is a growing social media agency based in Cardiff. We help businesses turn visibility into demand through intentional content, strong branding and clear messaging.
We're looking for a creative, reliable freelance video editor to turn supplied footage into engaging Instagram Reels and TikTok videos for our clients.
The role
You'll work directly with Estera's founder, receiving footage, briefs and brand guidance. Your focus will be editing content that captures attention and feels consistent with each client's brand.
What you'll do
- Edit up to 17 short-form videos per month, typically 15--60 seconds each. Add subtitles, on-screen hooks, music and relevant transitions. Improve pacing, sound levels and basic colour where needed. Adapt edits to different client styles. Deliver videos within agreed deadlines. Complete one consolidated round of revisions per video.
We'll provide the footage, content direction and wording for on-screen messaging. Filming, posting, account management and client communication are handled by Estera.
Who we're looking for
- A portfolio showing confident short-form video editing. An understanding of hooks, pacing and readable subtitles. Experience using CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar. Strong attention to detail and written English. Clear communication and the ability to work independently.
Your portfolio matters more than formal qualifications. Personal projects are welcome if you're building your experience.
Pay and working arrangements
- £250 per month for the agreed package of up to 17 videos. Freelance, remote work using your own equipment and editing software. Flexible working times, with agreed delivery dates. Additional videos or work outside the brief will be quoted and agreed separately.
