About the Role
We are looking for an Android Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Android application development and be comfortable working with modern Android technologies and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Build scalable and maintainable applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Implement Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
- Follow MVVM / Clean Architecture principles.
- Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and handle asynchronous operations using Coroutines / Flow.
- Work with Firebase services including notifications, analytics, crash reporting, etc.
- Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams.
- Debug issues, optimize application performance, and improve app stability.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Good understanding of MVVM / Clean Architecture.
- Experience with Retrofit, Coroutines, Flow, Room/SQLite.
- Experience with Firebase.
- Understanding of Android lifecycle, navigation, background services, and push notifications.
- Experience integrating REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of Git and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Maps and Location APIs.
- Experience with payment gateway integration.
- Experience with deep links and push notifications.
- Experience with app performance optimization.
- Experience publishing and managing apps on Google Play Store.
