Accountant / Financial Accountant (80--100%)

Infinitas Capital AG is a single-family office based in Basel. The group invests in real estate, private equity, as well as innovative companies in the fields of biotech, fintech, consumer tech, and proptech. The family office manages the accounting for numerous companies within its own investment portfolio.
To strengthen our accounting team, we are looking for a committed, independent, and team-oriented individual as an accountant who fits well into our existing team and independently manages the accounting of various companies in our investment portfolio.
Your Profile
- Federal diploma in finance and accounting, fiduciary or experience in fiduciary services or comparable qualification
- Several years of practical professional experience in accounting, ideally with experience in client accounting
- Confident knowledge of accounting according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and preferably also Swiss GAAP FER
- Experience in real estate accounting is an advantage
- Experience with Abacus is an advantage
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Fluent German
- English is an advantage
- Committed, independent, and team-oriented working style
Your Tasks
- Independent management of the complete accounting of various investment companies, especially in the real estate sector as well as other ventures
- Management of payroll accounting for Infinitas Capital AG and smaller companies
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
- Posting of property accounting into the overall accounting
- Preparation of reports and analyses for the responsible companies
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of withholding tax returns
- Reconciliation of payroll and social insurance accounts at year-end
- Assistance with tax returns
- Responsibility for and further development of our accounting system Abacus
- Optimisation and digitalisation of existing accounting processes
- General collaboration with external property accounting as well as their controlling and various other external service providers and stakeholders
