Overview
VitalOne Health is developing a technology-enabled home health monitoring service and is preparing to commence a limited pilot with a small group of participants.
We are looking for an experienced NMC-registered nurse to work remotely from home and review participant health-monitoring results through our VitalClinical platform.
This is a short-term, highly flexible engagement requiring approximately 4--6 hours per week for 4--6 weeks.
The successful candidate will be the first nurse working with VitalOne Health and will have the opportunity to work closely with our team during the pilot and provide feedback on the clinical workflow as the service develops.
Full training on the VitalOne platform and a detailed clinical review and escalation protocol will be provided.
The Pilot
Participants will undertake regular non-invasive, self-administered health scans using the VitalOne platform.
The nurse will not be required to visit participants in person. The role is primarily to review the information generated by each scan, record the nursing review within the system and identify anything requiring further attention in accordance with the agreed pilot protocol.
Verantwortlichkeiten
The role will include:
* Reviewing each participant's scan results within the VitalClinical platform.
* Reviewing the measurements, indicators and relevant participant information available within the system.
* Comparing results with previous scans where appropriate to identify changes or trends.
* Identifying readings, changes or trends that fall outside agreed parameters or otherwise warrant attention.
* Recording a concise nursing review and outcome against each scan.
* Flagging participants who may require further review, contact or escalation in accordance with the agreed pilot protocol.
* Participating in occasional discussions with the VitalOne Health team during the pilot and providing feedback on the clinical workflow and platform.
We anticipate that an individual scan review should ordinarily take approximately 10 minutes, although this will depend upon the information presented.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
* Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse with an active PIN.
* Appropriate recent clinical experience.
* Good clinical judgement and the ability to recognise when readings or trends may require further attention.
* Confidence using digital systems and reviewing health information remotely.
* Strong written communication and record-keeping skills.
* The ability to work independently and reliably from home.
* Good attention to detail.
Previous experience in remote monitoring, telehealth, community nursing, primary care, care of older people or digital health would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Pay: £40.00-£75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 -- 6.0 per week
