We recently wrapped Contest 1 , generating over 25,000 views in just two weeks . Now, we are preparing for our massive flagship competition (Contest 2) and looking for a creative, execution-driven teammate to help turn this momentum into a scaling user base and a successful funding round.
The Opportunity
As our Community, Marketing \& Content Lead (working directly with the founder), you will take ownership of how Leep shows up in the world --- our Discord, our social video content, our contests, and our story for investors.
You won't be starting from zero.
We already have:
- An active Discord community of engaged artists
- Proven contest momentum (38,000 views on our first soft launch in 14 days proven demand )
- TikTok and YouTube channels with a growing content catalogue
- Our flagship contest in motion with confirmed high-level partners and prizes
- Early traction and a founder ready to work closely alongside you
Your mission: Create and edit engaging short-form social content, cultivate our Discord community, execute our upcoming flagship contest, and help build the narrative that gets us funded.

- Content Creation \& Video Editing
- Produce, edit, and publish short-form video content (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) tailored to independent artists.
- Adapt messaging per platform without losing our authentic voice.
- Manage the social media content calendar and maintain a steady posting schedule.
- Community Management
- Own daily engagement, moderation, and culture in our Discord server.
- Turn community members into active advocates who invite other artists.
- Run contest logistics directly inside the community (announcements, Q\&As, submission support, community voting).
- Flagship Contest Execution
- Run Contest 2 from start to finish: promotion, entries, partner coordination, judging workflows, and winner communications.
- Coordinate timing and cross-promotion with confirmed partners (Sofar Sounds, LALAL.AI, Lyric Finder, Dolby/The Say Audio Studios, MAG Magazine).
- Convert contest views and entries into long-term registered platform users.
- Fundraising \& Growth Support
- Assist in building the narrative, traction metrics, and pitch materials we bring to investors.
- Turn community and contest data (growth curves, engagement rates, artist outcomes) into compelling cases for funding.
- Join founder calls with investors and partners when useful.
- Help identify and open doors to relevant funding sources (grants, angel investors, music-tech funds).
Must-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on content \& video editing skills: You can edit raw video into polished, engaging short-form clips (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or similar).
- Community growth experience: Real experience building and managing an active online community (Discord, Reddit, creator groups, or fan bases).
- Music industry affinity: A genuine passion for independent music, remix culture, or artist development.
- Strong copy \& communication skills: You write like an authentic human being, not a corporate press release.
- Organized \& execution-oriented: Able to manage live contests with high-stakes prizes, tight deadlines, and multiple partners without dropping details.
Nice-to-Have
- Startup fundraising experience: Familiarity with pitch decks, grant applications, or investor communications.
- Network \& relationships: Prior connections within music-tech, indie artist communities, or music platforms.
- Startup mindset: Experience wearing multiple hats and moving fast with a lean/bootstrapped budget.
