Summary:
The Chemical Operations VP, is responsible for developing and expanding the chemical business by establishing and executing a strategy to grow current markets and expand into new markets strategically.
Roles \& Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand the business while improving the organization by developing and executing a strategy with a clear focus and understanding of the different target groups.
- Develop and implement a growth-oriented chemical plan aimed at securing increased market share from direct competitors without changing the company's focus on adding customer value for a profitable business.
- Establish a strategy aligned with the company's strategic direction and develop short-term goals and initiatives in line with overall group objectives, with an eye on profitability.
- Work closely with sales and service to ensure all areas are aligned for growth.
- Align with leadership regularly.
- Ensure that all KPI's are met as well as driving improvement in service through training on a team level and one on one in the field.
- Responsible for the P\&L of the business line consumables.
- Working with the management team to lead efforts to continuously improve the company's internal structure and procedures, as well as develop and strengthen communication and teamwork within the company.
- Drive cultural change in a collaborative, trusting, positive atmosphere that promotes open communication.
Job Requirements:
Education \& Experience
- BA/BS degree in business management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-10 years supervisory experience in operations
- Car Wash product knowledge
- Proven track record as a team leader with an understanding of management practices
- Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles
- Experience with P\&L responsibility for a company or business unit with a proven ability to work with financial information to understand, communicate, and deliver important results
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills \& Abilities:
- High Level of Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and comprehend documents
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must
- Listening, negotiation, and presentation skills are a must
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and use hands to grip regularly.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined.
