Interim Finance Business Partner
Location: Remote
Rate: £466.58 per day PAYE
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Temporary -- 26 weeks
Start: ASAP
DBS: Basic DBS required
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial support within a SEND Reform programme.
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing and embedding financial operating models and processes.
- Leading financial planning, budget setting, monitoring and forecasting.
- Managing grant and deficit management budgets.
- Providing financial advice and challenge across the SEND Reform Programme.
- Supporting options appraisal and financial sustainability modelling.
- Producing clear financial reports for senior stakeholders, boards and external bodies.
- Supporting the review of SEND funding and banding arrangements.
- Working with finance teams to establish robust financial governance and processes.
Skills and Experience required:
- Strong Finance Business Partnering experience.
- Experience of strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Experience providing financial advice and challenge to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent reporting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of public-sector finance is desirable.
- Knowledge of SEND funding and/or local authority education finance would be advantageous.
